La qualità dell’aria è diventata nel corso degli ultimi decenni un problema per molti abitanti nelle aree urbane densamente popolate. La torre di purificazione Verto di Studio Symbiosis è stata creata per purificare l’aria nel Sunder Nursery di Nuova Delhi. Si tratta di un sistema su larga scala, alto 5,5 metri e dotato di una funzione di purificazione dell’aria multidirezionale, in modo da filtrarla e renderla più salubre per gli esseri umani e gli animali che la circondano.

Le mini-architetture sono composte da un unico modulo triangolare, che aiuta a garantire la facilità di costruzione. Ogni componente è rastremato per creare una compressione del vento e quindi aumentare la spinta dell’aria. Lo schema di perforazione è stato progettato come sistema orientato alle prestazioni, con aperture più grandi nelle aree di ingresso e di uscita, che accentuano il movimento elicoidale della torre. Basato su un design plug-and-play, Vetro può essere spedito in un imballaggio piatto e assemblato facilmente in loco, grazie al sistema modulare di pannelli GRC.
La torre è dotata inoltre di un sistema di controllo che consente di regolare le colonne di filtri in base alla domanda, reagendo così alla qualità dell’aria corrente. I sensori esterni, invece, registrano i dati sull’aria e sulle condizioni atmosferiche, che vengono raccolti e valutati in un cloud.
