Dubai’s CONCRETE, a multidisciplinary space designed by OMA partner Iyad Alsaka for the Alserkal Avenue arts hub, was transformed into a desert-like landscape for Waves, an immersive and sensory experience by Bottega Veneta. The event explored the expressive fusion of sound art, design, and music, drawing inspiration from Middle Eastern culture and the fluid nature of dunes and sound waves. The space, featuring concentric seating in sandy hues, was designed by Lebanese architect Carl Gerges in collaboration with Creative Director Matthieu Blazy and accompanied by the electroacoustic composition of Lebanese artist Tarek Atoui.
