Jacquemus turns Niemeyer’s French Communist Party HQs into a Bingo Hall

At the Espace Niemeyer, the party’s historic headquarters, Jacquemus organized a lottery evening: the brand’s latest accessories were up for grabs.

A bingo night inside one of the most well-known buildings of Parisian modernism. This is Jacquemus’ latest stunt, once again “borrowing” a cult building of the last century to host one of his events. After the summer show at Villa Malaparte, this time it was the turn of the French Communist Party headquarters, designed by Oscar Niemeyer in 1965.

Located in the 19th arrondissement, northeast of the city, the Espace Niemeyer is a faithful representation of Niemeyer’s architectural vision, known for his curves. It was the result of a collaboration with Jean Prouvé — whose influence is seen in the continuous façade — as well as Jean Deroche, Paul Chemetov, José L. Pinho, and Jacques Tricot.

The complex includes an S-shaped building supported by just five pillars, an underground connecting system, and a white reinforced concrete dome that rises above the exterior plaza floor, serving as the ceiling for the 300-seat underground congress hall.

It was precisely in this dome that Jacquemus’ holiday event took place, where players competed to win the brand’s accessories, including scarves, hats, a silver Bisou, and a yellow Turismo. The top prize was particularly coveted: a €2,000 shopping spree at the brand’s flagship store on Avenue Montaigne.

Evoking the scene of an old game show, fitting with the 1970s ambiance, numbered balls were drawn from a mixing machine. Though there were only 10 winners, no player went home empty-handed: everyone received silver and gold Jacquemus holiday ornaments inspired by the accessories.

A Brutalist masterpiece frames the novelty signed 24Bottles

Giancarlo De Carlo's Collegi in Urbino is hosting a campaign for a signature product of 24Bottles: the brand's first titanium bottle, designed under the banner of essentiality.
