Fran Silvestre Arquitectos has completed the extension of a house in Valencia, built by the Spanish studio itself. The 70 square meters new pavilion works as an autonomous architecture, creating intimate environments and generating comfortable outdoor spaces. The project consists of a bedroom, a living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms.

The main objective of the architects is to integrate the volume into the existing home and the garden. The project is arranged perpendicular to a pool, which is exposed with the short and opaque side, while a large window is facing the vegetation of the garden. Three large trees – a centenary olive tree, a liquidambar and a pomegranate tree – together with the pool deck are design elements used to link the structure with the garden.
