It is two years and two Furniture Fairs since we first saw this designer couple who trained at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem.
Back then, they were scouring the stands of the Salone Satellite for a manufacturer and their encounter with Giulio Cappellini led to the production of the NOM tables and stools.
The design is based on the idea of reproducing origami folds on a sheet of folded and laser-perforated aluminium, given its final shape by a bending mould. The legs are also bent along precise lines to create an effect of stretching and curving, giving a solid and organic appearance.
Bakery Design / Cappellini
The first project for Cappellini by these two young Israeli designers is a series of light, stackable furniture called NOM (Nature Of the Material).
