AnZa Concrete, the brutalist espresso machine

It is designed by the multisciplinary Montaag studio: the new version is currently in development.

What if we considered our coffee machines as a piece of furniture, or better yet, as sculptures? What would they look like? What materials would they be made of? In 2017, the  multidisciplinary studio Montaag, always focused on finding unconventional and distinctive aesthetic solutions, sought to answer these questions in its own way by creating AnZa, the first coffee machine made of concrete. Also available in white Corian, the espresso machine features brass details and ceramic knobs, with integrated IoT technology allowing users to access and program it remotely based on their needs. After nearly 7 years since the first model, Montaag has announced that they are working on developing a new version, the Anza Concrete R2. The Brutalist coffee machine is part of the Anza Coffee lineup, an entire portfolio of coffee products created with an emphasis on aesthetics and design.
