The project by Masquespacio studio was born with the aim of creating an environment that is out of the box of the typical pauperistic coworking and that is in tune with those who have an unconventional and creative approach to work.
Among the elements used for this purpose in the main room are the frames and curtains that are inverted to question the conventional way of using them and make those who will use this space reflect on how we see what is normal in our lives. The use of mirrors and reflective surfaces not only broadens the perception of space but also winks at the past with a 1970s look. But in the present, the visitor finds himself in a time machine that transports him into a space that seeks to convey a vibrant, joyful and unconventional energy.
At the same time there is a touch of irony in the space that connects perfectly with the different furniture and lighting objects, the Wink lamps, the Arco chairs and the Déjà-Vu stool.
Finally, the spanish designers referred to Playtime, Jacques Tati’s 1967 film, in which the protagonist at a certain point in the film has a meeting in an office full of “cabinettes” that look like a labyrinth in which he gets lost.
Cabinette in Valencia: if coworking is not minimalist
Masquespacio’s project for a coworking space is shimmering, retrofuturistic and incorporates the new spacing rules.
