The former public showers of Milan’s Piscina Cozzi, a 1930s masterpiece by Luigi Lorenzo Secchi, open their doors to the public for the first time during Design Week 2025. Hosting “Two-Fold Silence,” this exhibition marks the debut solo show for 6:AM.
Founded in 2018 by Edoardo Pandolfo and Francesco Palù, the design brand has quickly established itself as one of the most exciting voices in Milan’s creative scene. 6:AM specializes in glass, a material both ancient and modern. The founders saw an opportunity to revitalize the craftsmanship of Venetian glassmakers (from Murano and beyond), transforming their traditional, iconic pieces into contemporary expressions of design. In addition to its own creative output, 6:AM also serves as a platform for dialogue among architects, designers, manufacturers, and companies, all interested in shaping a modern “glass culture.”

“Two-Fold Silence” is an ambitious project that symbolically marks the transition from the brand’s emerging phase to a more mature stage. Over forty pieces, created by 6:AM as well as NM3, Oscar Murillo, Hannes Peer, and studiolucaguadagnino, among others, are displayed across numerous cubicles. The rich, solid travertine provides a stark, matte, and occasionally dusty backdrop, which is illuminated and brought to life by the reflections of vases, lamps, panels, and other objects in a variety of forms, ranging from product design to art.
Together, they tell the story of 6:AM’s evolving “style,” one that is not pre-defined but instead unfolds over time at the intersection of Bauhaus-inspired rationality and a more curvaceous, colorful world influenced by a modern take on Murano traditions.

The best time to visit the exhibition is at dusk, when the changing light interacts with the atmospheric, abstract soundscapes curated by Invernomuto. Looking ahead, the future of 6:AM is definitely one to watch in upcoming Design Weeks.
