Designed by the Spanish architecture firm Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura, Utamo is the latest future destination within Neom, the Saudi mega-project, described as a “theatre of the future”.
Located on a mountain overlooking the Gulf of Aqaba coastline, this entertainment space will be accessible via an extremely scenic coastal path, surrounded by a garden featuring over fifty different varieties of plants, flowers, and herbs.
A monumental entrance, 64 meters high and clad in staggered stone blocks, will then lead inside, allowing visitors to enter a true cliffside. A hall with a capacity of 2600 people will be equipped with the most advanced technology to support and enhance various types of performances.
The project, the eighth destination of the ten that will make up the Neom project, will also host VIP lounges and high-end restaurants.
