Poki is a drawer furniture designed by Hallo Essen, that combines stiff wood with cozy textile for a flexible, playful and functional storage space. Inspired by old Danish sewing tables, wall mounted or with legs, Poki is a perfect supplementary element for bedroom, lounge or vestibule.

Hallo Essen is a design collective founded in 2010 by Jennifer Heimann, Holm Giessler and Kai Eckoldt – a group of friends from the Industrial Design studies at the Folkwang University of the arts – located in Essen, Germany, the "heart" of the Ruhr area. Jennifer Heimann is a self-employed designer whose strength is the crosslinking between the various areas of design, from Product Design, to Fashion and Graphic, as well as Color & Trim. Holm Giessler is currently working in a design studio in Essen. He has a passion for furniture and lighting design, and his strength comes from his technical knowledge and sense for details. Kai Eckoldt is a research assistant at the Folkwang University. He works in the field of Experience Design. He is interested in a possibility-driven design approach to design products that create or mediate positive experiences.
