The renovation project involved the creation of three private rooms and the addition of a new entrance body. An eccentric and visionary formal language against a sterile functionalist aesthetic is introduced into the interior of the villa as well as into its external shell and used as a catalyst for the imagination of those who live there. Searching for a spatial unpredictability, architect Anthony Authié of Paris-based studio Zyva highlights, rather than deny formal anomalies: porthole windows and arched openings draw the entrance body; a tiled surface that extends fluidly from the bathrooms to the corridor with rounded corners is combined with silvery skin interspersed with cuts of Led light that covers the walls in the interiors. Wardrobe walls cut out in correspondence of the windows create soft pink velvet niches from which to look out.
