Transparent’s "Brutalist" wireless speaker: a tribute to architecture

Made from 70% recycled aluminum, this uniquely shaped speaker combines a striking design with high-quality sound performance.

Transparent, the Stockholm-based brand renowned for its minimalist speakers, has introduced a new product that’s sure to captivate audiophiles as well as architecture and design enthusiasts. Named the Brutalist Speaker, this wireless device pays direct homage to Brutalism: “We’re thrilled to bring this legendary style into people’s homes, bringing the worlds of architecture and design together,” says Per Brickstad, Transparent’s creative director. “We believe audio devices can be visually stunning, technologically advanced, and easy to use; and this speaker embodies that vision perfectly. The Brutalist Speaker is more than just a speaker; it’s a sonic monument that invites listeners on an unforgettable journey.”

Distinguished by its unconventional lines reminiscent of the enigmatic and squared geometries of Brutalist architecture, this wireless speaker weighs 12 kilograms and its cabinet, measuring 59 x 36 x 26 cm, is crafted from 70% post-consumer recycled aluminum.
