As well as the more famous ones such as the plans for Ground Zero, the Felix Nussbaum Haus at Osnabrück and the Imperial War Museum North in Manchester, the exhibition also presents a number of lesser known and less publicised projects. These include the Atelier Weil in Majorca, the “Musicon” concert hall in Bremen and the “Spiral”, the extension to the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
As well as his work, the Berlin museum depicts the world of the architect of Polish origin through his ideas, life and accomplishments. Organised in collaboration with the Barbican Gallery, in 2004 the exhibition will move to London in December and then on to the US.
