Featuring multiple terraces and panoramic glass windows, the villa opens onto an imposing living room with vaulted ceilings and hand-painted majolica details in full Moorish style. On the lower floor, the kitchen overlooks a large terrace that constitutes the focal point of the entire residence. At the same time, the dining room, both internal and external, offers a scenic view of the Coast’s rocky profile. The sleeping area includes a master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and additional independent suites.
The preliminary projects for La Grotta Rosa are currently on display in the Gae Aulenti’s retrospective at the Triennale di Milano, an exhibition aiming to reconstruct through drawings, photographs, and archival material the over sixty-year career of one of the most representative figures of Italian design and architecture.
