Battersea Roof Gardens, a mixed-use building, and 50 Electric Boulevard, the adjacent office building, designed by Foster + Partners, have been completed. Part of the third phase of the Battersea Power Station masterplan, the two buildings are located on the western side of Electric Boulevard, a two-level main street that starts at the Zone 1 Battersea Power Station underground. The undulating form of the two buildings has been designed to maximize views of the power station, and the winding street between them offers a wide range of restaurants and shops, receding and expanding at the upper level to create scenic spots where people can enjoy a moment of pause.

Battersea Roof Gardens hosts 436 luxury apartments—some with private terraces—and an art hotel with 164 rooms, the London Battersea Power Station, topped by one of the largest roof gardens in the city, featuring a lounge bar and an infinity pool overlooking the power station’s chimneys.
50 Electric Boulevard, aims instead to be an inspiring workplace, with its undulating shape generating a variable floor plan to guarantee maximum flexibility. The atrium connects to a double-height pavilion, called Light Box, via a striking spiral staircase. Illuminated by a series of large skylights and filled with plants, it features a coffee bar and seating areas for hosting large-scale events.
Large windows, balconies, greenery, and natural materials throughout the space aim to provide a healthy environment and enhance the well-being of its occupants. Additionally, the building has a roof terrace for exercise classes and corporate events.
In the spring of 2025, a new entrance to the underground station will open directly beneath the building, making commutes to and from the office even more efficient.
