On the hills of Gardone Riviera, near the Vittoriale of the Italian poet and writer Gabriele D’Annunzio, lies a complex of architectural masterpieces that make up the Eden Reserve residential park, where two villas with Lake Garda views are currently for sale, designed by Richard Meier and David Chipperfield respectively.

Meier's villa, spanning 851 square meters, is on the market for 10,980,000 euros. Characterized by white cladding surfaces, large windows, and cubic volumes, the architect aims to use light as a building material. The basement houses the entrance leading to the guest room with a bathroom, a wine cellar, saunas, and a large terrace with an infinity pool. The upper floor hosts the living room with an elegant Swedish fireplace, the dining room with an open kitchen, and a service kitchen with access to the laundry room. The top floor features a bright studio, a master room, and two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and panoramic views. The underground garage, connected to the floors by an elevator, accommodates four cars. The residential park in which the villa is located offers also concierge services, dining, and a spa.

David Chipperfield’s villa, consisting of three different buildings with a total area of 1,130 square meters, is for sale for 12,550,000 euros. Characterized by cubic structures made of local light stone and minimalist lines, it has a terrace integrated into the residence itself. On the ground floor of the main building is the entrance, which blends seamlessly with the large dining room. The same concept of continuity is present between the dining room and the kitchen, and on the upper floor, between the study and the living areas, which include a library and fireplace. The lower floor houses another living room and three double bedrooms, each with a walk-in closet and en-suite bathroom. The sunlight entering through the full-height windows of the facade, the terraces with infinity pools, and the annex with a spa and fitness room make this residence unique. The villa also has a double garage and a guest house.
