Gucci has opened a temporary space in east London: Gucci Circolo Shoreditch, located in a building originally designed as a private home and a studio for artists by Sir David Adjaye on Whitby Street (but Adjaye is not involved in the Gucci's project). Today it offers the chance to experience Gucci’s collections and brand idendity in an alternative way. The interiors are characterized by dark wood-panelled walls and Gucci’s ‘Glade Print’ wallpaper.

The first exhibition on show is the “Gucci100” collection, which celebrates the 100th anniversary of the house with a showcase of creative director Alessandro Michele’s ready-to-wear colorful collections, footwear and accessories.
A book store, curated by publisher IDEA will offer a selection of rare fashion, art and photography books; a listening lounge will allow guests to select music from a diverse pick of artists – including Phoebe Bridgers, Celeste, Nick Cave, Iggy Pop and St Vincent; and eventually there is the possibility to have a coffee at Gucci Café.
