With more and more companies relaxing their physical presence policies due to the Covid-19 pandemic, a growing number of people have accepted remote working as a better alternative to cubicles or to the open-office concept.

This means that there’s also a growing market for alternative office solutions for those who can’t really afford to properly work from home, such as parents with kids, or single people with tiny apartments. 
The NV350 Caravan Office Pod, a new concept from Nissan for a compact office on wheel.

The vehicle is a special version of Nissan’s popular NV350, fitted with a slide-out office pod with enough space for one person. The office can be used indoor, inside the caravan, or outdoor, sliding out of its compartment inside the van. And for those much needed breaks during a busy workday, the NV350 Caravan offers a rooftop lounge to relax and enjoy the surrounding of the mobile office.

Nissan designed the special version of the NV350 for this year’s digital edition of the Tokyo Auto Salon, unfortunately with no intention of turning the concept into a commercial product.
