Harley Davidson is going to sell an electric bicycle. The world-renown US motorcycle manufacturer had already teased its plans at the EICMA show in Milan, in 2019, and now everything’s set for the debut of the first model. The new bicycle is called “Serial 1”, a nostalgic reference to the first “Serial Number One” Harley Davidson motorcycle built in 1903. The design is classy and elegant, with a touch of retro-chic. So far we don’t have any specs about the bike, though, but according to the official pictures, the bike seems to pack a mid-drive motor and a belt drive system, while the battery and the lights are integrated in the frame. The leather accents and the white wheels, along with the frame lines and the polished black finish, give the bike a vaguely vintage rockabilly look. We still have no word on pricing, although we know for certain that the new Serial 1 e-bike will arrive in March 2021 and will be marketed under the Serial 1 Cycle brand, a spin-off Harley Davidson has founded to enter the e-mobility business.
