While the neoclassical atmospheres and “Regency fashion” of Bridgerton may seem worlds apart from the bloody survival game inspired by the grotesque distortions of capitalist society portrayed in Squid Game, as of December 2, the two series will share more than just global success: a dedicated capsule collection by Bialetti.
Following its collaboration with Netflix to create the Bridgerton line, Bialetti has expanded its partnership with the streaming platform by launching an exclusive Squid Game-themed collection, the most-watched Netflix series of all time written and directed by Hwang Dong-hyuk, which is set to return with its second season in December 2024. This collection pivots on the iconic Moka Express, complemented by a range of double-wall steel products, whose line merges the visual language of the series — fluorescent tones, vibrant colours, and geometric symbolism — with the classic design of Bialetti products, transforming them into narrative objects with a distinctly pop aesthetic.
