Vittorio Gregotti has died

The master of modern Italian architecture passed away in Milan at the age of 92.

Admitted to the San Giuseppe clinic in Milan for complications due to pneumonia, Vittorio Gregotti died this morning at the age of 92. Born in Novara on 10 August 1927, he founded his studio Gregotti Associati in 1974, after having been a pupil of E. N. Rogers. Theorist and professor at the Politecnico di Milano as well as architect, in 2012 he received the gold medal for his career at the Triennale di Milano.
