Bean Buro proposed an outdoor installation at the entrance, 155 sqm wide, to provide a specific identity. A flock of LED light columns clad in lightweight mesh coloured in a gradient from yellow to orange serve as a reference to the company’s branding. At night, they glow and pulsate in multiple colours to create an interactive rhythm.
The welcoming reception measures 346 sqm, and inhabits the top floor of the building. An open and interactive space, with a nine meters long LED screen displays dynamic abstract animations. An open, flexible café space forms the social hub of the company and acts as a welcoming area for guests, while sculptural furniture and original Eero Saarinen chairs from the 1950’s provide a backdrop to the everyday experience of the office.
The space was designed to be flexible, with a boardroom that can be opened up for events, or closed for private meetings. The architects used oversized ceramic floor tiles and acoustic fabric tiles designed by Ronan&Erwan Bouroullec, to create an earthy and textured ambience. The convention center was designed to seat 150 people, with custom made Kvadrat fabrics that wrap the high-performance acoustic panels.
