AuCap is defined by Brazilian woods, detailing and union between industry and handicraft. Its collections join Brazilian cultural syncretism and contemporary design, bringing to life pieces of furniture that bring with them a story. Among the pieces presented at Villa Litta, Ziggy is a cabinet born from a study on Brazilian indigenous jewels design. Geometric shapes and combinations of colours of bracelets, necklaces and wedding jewels inspired the designer. The result is a piece of furniture which translates colours and geometric shapes into contemporary language by using the marquetry technique. Ziggy is composed of more than 2000 pieces, individually lacquered and assembled.
