When we designed Social last year, the system already had in its DNA a kind of home feeling. We didn’t have to create a new object, we just worked on the proportions to achieve the level of comfort that we had in mind. We made it lower, slimmer and deeper. Social Plus is a mutant object, that has moved from the home to the office to introduce the idea of comfort in the most classic sense, not limited to the functional comfort linked to the ergonomics of sitting that requires an angle of 70°.

Entering the home is a new direction for Pedrali. “Social Plus” – according to Patrick Jouin – “is for Pedrali something of a Trojan horse”. To be continued.
