Starting from Alfiere ( the “Bishop” in italian) which is a stool in solid wood: it features a geometric form, interrupted by a large diagonal cut which acts as a magazine rack; next to it is "moving" Regina (the “Queen”),with a more "aristocratic" and imposing shape, and Pedone (the “Pawn”),a rounded and simple stool.
These products have been designed taking inspiration by chess, as the name suggests; they want to enphatize shapes and characteristics of the chess pieces (especially the heads) that re used in this game. The stools are produced by Icons in solid scented cedarwood with semi-artisanal techniques and processes, enhancing the value and finishes.
