Domus 959 features an editorial by Mexican architect Tatiana Bilbao, who has materialized her vision of architecture as a collaborative effort into an expressive cadavre exquis in the issue's cover. We visit two new exhibition spaces by Lacaton & Vassal and Toyo Ito, where architecture and curatorship come together, dismantling the modernist ideal of the museum in favour of a socially driven understanding of art's role in society.

We revisit this year's Salone del Mobile, selecting the most important events, products, installations and performances, from three-dimensional construction to artisan techniques, and from emergency designs to projects on fragility. The Supernormal series continues, discussing in-screen sports graphics, and we delve inside the maker community, recently divided by the decision taken by the U.S. Department of Defense to fund the creation of 1000 makerlabs in American highschools.
