The student projects originate from visionary concepts on the borderline between art and design and concern behavioral studies and experiments with traditional and new production techniques. Prototype design seems to be driven more by inspiration than by an understanding of concrete objects. Some of the design themes faced are difficult and controversial yet seductive.
Yael designs shoes for women inspired by the study of the malformations of Siamese twins. Avi and Bar rethink cutlery based on a research project on eating disorders. Shay revisits the phenomenon of capillarity in a flower vase. These are some of the many virtuoso projects presented in the exhibit curated by Professors Ezri Tarazi, Haim Parnas, Galit Shvo.
