Dandelight is the basic idea for "Fragile Future", a modulair light sculpture made of electric circuits and dandelionlights of which a variety of compositions can be build on walls. Designed by Lonneke Gordijn for Drift, Dandelight is a little luminous dandelion, that shows the fusion of nature and electronics: a little piece of real nature that lightens up by batteryfood. The poetic Dandelight' is carefully handmade in the Drift Studio in the Netherlands. Materials are phosphorusbronze, electronics and real dandelionseeds (these seeds are lasting, because they are secured one by one to a led-light).
