A flat in Turin has been transformed by DAR architettura into a residential space with an office for short-term stays. The home is defined by the combination of materials, different colours and furnishings made with an architectural approach.  The floor of the entrance hall, a dining room which also serves as a meeting area and place for conviviality, is covered with bricks from previous renovations. The kitchen is visually connected to the work and dining area by a glass partition to keep noise and smells separate, while the table is a continuous, suspended surface crossing the partition wall: made of steel in the kitchen, it is pine wood on the other side. All the furnishings are conceived as small architectures with elements such as roofs and openings: cabinets have sloping covers to facilitate cleaning, and the central corridor, bathed in an enveloping electric blue, is characterised by a row of doors opening in perspective.
