A project centered on the theme of balance - between an architectural archetype and its contemporary updates, but also between the well-being of patients and staff - characterizes the renovation conceived by the architectural firm New Landscapes for a pharmacy in Gorle, in the province of Bergamo.
The types of custom-made coverings and furnishings differentiate the environment open to the public from that reserved for pharmacists, while seeking maximum spatial continuity thanks to transparencies and visual perspectives. But it is the precise choice of colours and textures that define the identity of the entire space: while the green shades provide a harmonious and restful configuration, the teak updates the classic pharmacy storage units of the past with brighter tones, offering a more linear and luminous version. The only contemporary feature, on the other hand, is offered by worktops, made of agglomerate cement and Botticino marble.
