In renovating an apartment in Athens in the 70s, the architect Natalia Bazaiou interprets the wishes of her clients by creating a wide living room where light and greenery give the space a fluid and invigorating tone.

Animated by an informal spirit, a large living area finds in a large terrarium the opportunity to transform plants into a device dedicated to domestic well-being.

In particular, the introduction of an indoor greenhouse does not acquire purely decorative purposes, nor is implemented for food production or air filtration, but is part of a more holistic search for well-being that also wants to offer a reference to the salient features of the Greek landscape.
In addition to the glass surfaces of the greenhouse, which propagate light by diffusing shades of green in the room, the cladding also seeks an echo with the external built landscape, creating a dialogue between raw surfaces, noble materials and worked textures.
