During the event, the exhibition space will give way to four live talks, which in the Creative Hub at One Works will see major players from the marine industry, architecture and design, and social commitment to the environment present their ideas and projects in response to the need for greater attention to marine sustainability. In particular, on Tuesday 7 June, the talk “Sustainable boating: an open boatyard” will feature a dialogue between Massimo Perotti, CEO of Sanlorenzo, Patricia Urquiola, the company’s Architect and Designer, and Walter Mariotti, Editorial Director of Domus magazine.
The new yacht model – characterised by refined research into sustainable materials and solutions that optimise efficiency – represents for Sanlorenzo an example of research towards “conscious design for a new future”, where innovation and technology meet.
The event also doubles its presence with the “Fabbrica” installation in the setting of the Università degli Studi, where visitors will be able to experience an interactive virtual reality tour of the new boat.
