The coffered ceiling, the semicolumns and the framed windows of this loft in the Tribeca district of New York become the container for an ephemeral insert that acts as a display device for Maharishi clothes and accessories. A grid of a two-storey wood cabinetry – a more protected and intimate mezzanine overlooks the double height of the loft – is painted military olive green and padded with rough plywood panels and mirrors that reflect space and create depth. A further leyer is represented by the curtains, made of a Japanese custom-woven stand cotton, that move and soften the grid and that, if lowered, convert the cell from exhibition space to storage.

This is how the Neyworkese studio Abruzzo Bodziak Architects reinterprets the Maharishi clothing line – made up of items made from natural but at the same time technical materials and of of revisitations of garments and accessories in a military style – and shapes an installation that reflects the brand's identity in an expressively way.
