Here are the words that descibe the project: "The candleholder is an object with a very simple function: it must hold a candle. Everything could be a candleholder; it is too easy to become one. It would be enough to place a candle on top. Even without a project, things take shape and function all the same. Despite the immediacy of building, the realization of the object for its “functionality achieved”, I think there is always a project, however modest, there is always when I cut the wood or bend the tube or I reuse something. I noticed that the sincerity of these moments is an example of elegance and that the honesty and dignity of being what you are is a form of beauty. With my modest research, I have only tried to understand something more about the designer’s profession and it has been extremely helpful, because now I have even more doubts. The only thing I have clarified is that living is the most beautiful project, which is being realized, without knowing it.”
