Mexican designer José Bermúdez and Colombian designers Vrokka and Fango Studio created a collection that merges two different coffee cultures known worldwide. The Samaná collection is divided in two parts, a container and a coffeeware that complement each other. The name is taken from the coffee region between Bogotá and Medellin. The container is inspired by the shape of the wooden boxes used by coffee growers when selecting the best coffee beans.

The leather is used to have a warm surface where to keep all the accessories safe. The top part is made in thin steel in order to have a more rough surface to prepare coffee. Samaná uses the dripping method that allows the user to prepare special blends, enhancing the multisensorial experience. The accessories aim to generate a ritual through each piece. Oak wood gives texture and warmth while the ceramic vases have a dark enamel in the inside while keeping a neutral cream colour on the outside.
