Glass takes centre stage in Conad's new headquarters
AGC Flat Glass Italia played a key role in the design of Sidera, the new headquarters of the CIA Conad Group on the outskirts of Forlì.
Ettore Sottsass said of him that one of his models gave such complete satisfaction to the designer that he hardly had any more desire to make the machine. Giovanni Sacchi died a few days ago aged 81 years at the Fatebenefratelli hospital in Milan. His work is documented in the permanent collection of Italian design at the Triennale in Milan and the Faculty of Industrial Design at the Politecnico. L.S.
