The new project, designed by Wip Architects with Christos Vlachos, carves flowing lines along the shores of Kea Bay in the Cyclades.
Formerly a stone warehouse for the maritime trade and later a restaurant, the building has undergone a complete interior redesign to adapt it to its new residential function. Anthracite finishes and sand-coloured concrete floors provide a striking contrast to the vibrant colours of the surrounding landscape.
The stone that characterised the original warehouse has been reused for the external walls, integrating them with the traditional dry-stone walls typical of the area. These walls blend into the landscape, following the rocky contours of the coastline.
Further continuity between the architecture and the ground is provided by green roofs planted with local vegetation, interrupted only by skylights. These skylights illuminate a small green garden inside the house, which, together with the main glass walls, creates a seamless connection with the Mediterranean landscape, even from inside the house.

The Beach House Kea project integrates the morphology of the site, local materials and traditional construction techniques with simple interiors. Smooth surfaces and minimalist furnishings contrast with the tactile and visual richness of the surroundings.
Finally, recreational areas describe external platforms that merge the outdoor vegetation with the indoor spaces, while staircases provide access to the house and connect it to the sea as volumes carved into the bay.

The latest addition to the PLUST Collection is a line of furniture inspired by the texture of white stone, which illuminates as evening falls.
