In Atelier Janda Vanderghote's conversion of an aging house, the front facade has been restored and maintains its original appearance, with the exception of the entrance door. But at the rear, the facade has a pronounced contemporary design, with large glass windows and a dynamic rhythm defined by metal and wood. The interiors have been completely renovated. The Belgian studio designs an interplay of public and private spaces, the definition of which is blurred. The rooms are characterised by the continuity of blue furnishings that mix with the plaster of the walls, the terrazzo and wood of the floors and the raw cement of the exposed structure.
