Renzo Piano certainly needs no introduction. At the extensive exhibition on display at the LACMA, which will soon undergo an extension by the Ligurian architect, one gets a first-person account of his work and career. The museum extension is yet another U.S. project for Piano, who has done work in Houston, Dallas, New York and Atlanta. Starting with a collection of sketches, dossiers, photographs, videos and models, visitors can attempt to gain an insight into the work carried out in Piano’s spectacular studio-workshop in the Vèsima hills near Genoa.
