An immersive and synaesthetic itinerary to present its vision of light, a central element in the definition of architecture and one that is constantly innovating through connectivity, technology, research in the field of optics and environmental responsibility. iGuzzini returns after six years to Light+Building, the world's leading trade fair for lighting and intelligent building. It does so with a stand designed by Studio GEZA for the exhibition layout and Artec Studio for the lighting design and scenography: an imaginative and at the same time detailed presentation of the solutions in the catalogue and the 2024 new entries.

iGuzzini presents itself in Frankfurt with "Light that moves", a leitmotif that sums up the idea of light that is connected, responsive, inherently sustainable and deeply human, represented in each collection and through the individual architectural and interior projects illuminated by iGuzzini. "Light that moves" is also the concept behind the new brand identity, which expresses iGuzzini's innovation for light that moves spaces, people, culture and imagination.

"We are returning to Light+Building after six years, aware of the importance of the lighting show worldwide and convinced that we will confirm ourselves as one of the reference points in our sector. We will do so with an evolved image, in some ways revolutionised, that takes into account the development and changes of society, creating a unique proposal on the market where iGuzzini DNA, history and future intertwine," says Cristiano Venturini, CEO iGuzzini. "We present a light that becomes smart, intelligent and offers solutions to make people's lives better, more sustainable and fulfilling, wherever they are. Culture of light and its roots, design, imagination, research and continuous innovation are the ingredients that allow the visitor in Frankfurt to experience something different, inside and outside the iGuzzini stand, completely reinvented for the event."

In this context, iGuzzini light is the fifth element that is enhanced and diffused in a series of installations that unfold their technical, graphic and architectural potential. A light experience cadenced by three islands within an ephemeral architecture, permeable to the gaze of visitors inside and outside the stand.

Among the new products that will be presented at Light + Building by iGuzzini we find Sipario, a new professional spotlight that is part of iGuzzini's architectural expertise for museums and retail, hospitality and living spaces.  But the idea of light as a graphic, theatrical, evocative tool is also a challenge. To emphasise a presence, define the hierarchies of perception and play with the succession of protagonist presences. Sipario is constructed from a decidedly technological formal inspiration, borrowed from the world of space exploration and high-precision optical instruments. A profile that widens at its extreme, designed to accommodate a triple Optibeam technology: lenses, reflectors and refractors. The different optical modules are added and superimposed to obtain different effects and apertures that modify and specify the light beam. But Sipario is a system destined to expand into many variations, becoming a large family of professional projectors.

Another news presented by iGuzzini is Filorail, a lighting system characterised by a practically invisible electrified track, with a aperture of 3.6 millimetres, making it the smallest in the world, and micro connections for attaching spots or other lighting systems. A technological challenge faced for the love of form, beauty, and respect for architectural design. Filorail is a structural graft, a solution particularly suitable for designing museum and exhibition spaces. But it is also a product that opens up new perspectives of interpretation for the interior design of residential, retail and hospitality environments, because it combines the mimetic attitude of the system with the great luminous performance of iGuzzini lighting systems. It is a product designed to freely use technology within any living environment, without adding formal contents typical of the professional world.
