“Host is a companion for your home or hotel room, which serves you and your needs. It has a spontaneous and functional character. We need those allrounders, which are practical and straight forward”. This is how German designer Sebastian Herkner, born in 1981, describes his new project for Chinese brand Stellar Works.

Unveiled at Design Shanghai, Host is not just a simple coat rack but a multifunctional piece of furniture conceived in response to the growing need for changing living spaces. The structure, with its minimalist design, comprises a steel frame equipped with a system of visible shelves and storage units, an integrated mirror and a solid wooden base which, thanks to its integrated wheels, allows it to be moved easily.
