The cancellation of the Geneva Motor Show has deprived us of a few interesting car concepts unveilings that would have taken place and the Swiss convention. The lines are simple, but soft and strong at the same time. The headlights and taillights are pixelated and add a surprising touch of volume to a usually flat design element.
According to Hyundai’s promotional material, the Prophecy sports a “iconic silhouette of perfect proportions”, through which its designers “have achieved the Ultimate Automotive Form.” That’s definitely a bold claim, but it embodies the spirit of many car concepts whose aim is to both put out a vision of the future and impress with a brave design statement. The Prophecy concept will probably never hit the road, but some of its elements could percolate into the design of Hyundai’s electric sport cars in the future. At least that’s what we’re all expecting after Hyunday’s acquisition of Rimac Automobili, the promising Croatian startup working on hyper-impressive and hyper-cool electric hypercars.
