In 2017 designers Che-Wei Wang and Taylor Levy successfully funded a Kickstarter project to create 100 original 3D-printed pendant lamp designs. Now the founders of the CW&T design studio are giving away those designs for free under a Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License. Anyone with a 3D printer with a build area of at least 220x220mm can download any design, print it themselves, and even resell the final product (with an attribution) if they want. The designers even recommend what kind of plastic filament you should use and the light temperature of the BULBS you’ll be using (2700K LED bulbs, for the record). Those who like the pendant lamps designs but don’t have a 3D-printer can simply buy the objects from the studio’s online store for 90$.
