If you’re a Lego fan, you probably know Lego has a history of creating incredible full-size replicas of cars from time to time, mostly for marketing purposes — and, we’re quite sure, for the sheer joy of their in-house modelers. After Bugatti and, more recently, Chevrolet, now it’s McLaren’s turn. The car you see in the pictures above a perfect replica of the famous Sienna sportscar. It took a Lego team of 30 designers and builders a whopping 2,725 hours to build. For comparison, it takes McLaren engineers in Woking around 300 hours to build an actual Senna. Moreover, the Lego replica could also be described as the heaviest McLaren car ever: its 467,854 Lego pieces add up to a total weight of 1,700 Kg.

Apparently, it takes 467,854 Lego pieces to create the heaviest McLaren ever built.
