Last week at the Geneva Motor Show, along with its new “e” Prototype, Honda unveiled another concept developed in partnership with thirteen students from the Master in Transportation Design of IED Torino. It’s called TOMO, which means “friend” in Japanese. The car was created with the needs of a future user - more than driver - in mind. That was exactly Honda’s brief, i.e. to create a vehicle that young user will love to drive in six years from now. With TOMO the designers tried to blur the lines between a “smart device” and a traditional car, to offer the user a youthful “mobility tool” that can cater to their needs in every scenario, while honoring core values such as ecology and sustainability. More about TOMO on IED’s website.
