To celebrate the release of the new Lego movie, unsurprisingly titled The LEGO Movie 2, The Second Part, Warner Bros.’ partner Chevrolet built a full-size 2019 Silverado 1500 LT Trail Boss out of LEGO brick. To put together its first LEGO Car, which has working lights and has been unveiled at the 2019 NAIAS trade show, Chevy teamed up with a group of students from the Oxford Community School.
The finished LEGO car is both amazing and uncanny. In each promotional picture it looks like a pixelated mistake inside a carefully crafted rendering.
Chevrolet built a Silverado pickup truck out of LEGO
Eighteen Master Builders worked for more than 2000 hours to lay all the 334,544 pieces of this pixelated beauty.
