Italamp’s Incanto collection includes new pendant lamps whose special glass processing gives a mystical aura. Italian designers Paola Nava and Luca Arosio draw supple lines that materialise in a thermoformed glass lamp. Dalì is a tribute to the surrealism of the eclectic Spanish artist and in particular to the painting The Persistence of Memory, in which clocks seem to melt to signify the fluidity of time. The glass of the lamp becomes “soft” and superimposed on several layers recalling light veils.
Blown glass spheres represent the Moon and Mars, the celestial bodies closest to the earth. Muna and Marta are twin pendant lamps designed by Danilo De Rossi, both characterized by a hood of borosilicate glass that incorporates them. The two have different finishes: the globe of the first is irregular and porphyry, while the second is decorated with a central strip of copper.
