Microlino gets a new Lite version

The Swiss company behind Microlino presented a new version of its micro-EV that can be driven by anyone who has at least a moped license.

The Microlino gets even smaller (and slower). Micro, the Swiss company behind the super-compact bubble car, unveiled the Microlino Lite at the Geneva Motor Show this week. The vehicle has a top speed of 45 km/h, which is half as fast as a normal Microlino, comes with a 6kW motor, and weighs about 600 kg. It is classified as an L6e vehicle, meaning that, unlike its bigger sister, it can be driven by anyone at least 14 years old and with a European AM-class license.

The base battery holds about 5.5KWh of power, which gives the car a range of about 100km. At the same time, the larger 11kWh unit lets you drive around for an extra 77 km. Like the original Microlino, the Microlino Lite is a two-seater with a surprisingly large 230-liter trunk. The car will launch initially in Europe this summer. The entry-level model will be available with a monthly lease of CHF149 per month (€156) with a minimum subscription of 48 months and a limit of 5000 Km per year.

FADE Family is the new approach to outdoor living

The latest addition to the PLUST Collection is a line of furniture inspired by the texture of white stone, which illuminates as evening falls.
