Airbnb created Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse, a life-size, all-pink dollhouse that overlooks the ocean in northern Malibu, California. Previously listed on Airbnb for Barbie’s 60th anniversary in 2019, the house has been recently renovated and is now being rented on Airbnb by Ken himself.
On one of the many terraces of the house, there is a dance floor and a disco, with pink, purple, and yellow specks. The Dreamhouse has also an outdoor lounging area, a gym, a kitchen with a barbecue, and an infinity pool, all in bright pink.
Inside there is a western-style bedroom, with cow leather rugs and cowboy hats, a horse statue, and a wardrobe from which guests can borrow Ken’s fringed cowboy shirts and his guitar, but also some of Barbie’s most iconic outfits.
“All stays will be free of charge – because Ken couldn't figure out how to put a price on Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse – after all, Ken’s thing is beach, not math!”, said Airbnb, which will make a donation to the charity Save the Children in celebration of the Barbie movie.
Barbie’s Malibu Dreamhouse can be booked for up to two guests from July 17, July 21 and 22.
