London Festival of Architecture 2021, our 5 picks

In June, events and talk across the city will explore the theme of  “care” in architecture, art, and design. Here are five events you should not miss.

Kicking off on June 1st, the London Festival of Architecture (LFA), the world’s largest annual architecture festival, will celebrate once again the capital as a global hub of innovation in the sector.

With a team that includes leading cultural and academic institutions, artists, designers, and architecture practitioners, this year’s edition will explore the theme of “care” through a lively hybrid programme of events running both online, on air, and at Covid-safe venues across London.

Among the highlights of this edition, there will be a digital pavilion at the V&A Museum diplaying large-scale paintings by artist Ben Johnson, a self-guided tour across one of the biggest regeneration projects in Europe, and a panel on the post-pandemic future of redundant department stores.
